RESERVE ONLINE + SAVE TIME

Booking online before you arrive:

  • Reserve your gear in advance to create your customer profiles in advance and receive a price quote for your rentals.

  • Pick up the evening before (after 4 PM) so you’re ready to hit the mountain first thing.

  • We also allow walk-ins anytime if you’d prefer to skip the technology piece. We’ve got plenty of gear to get you out on the hill!

We’ve got six shops across North Lake Tahoe and Truckee, making it easy to pick up and drop off wherever you are.

GEAR PACKAGES FOR EVERY RIDER

Whether you’re learning, cruising, or chasing powder, we’ve got you covered:

  • Beginner / Basic Packages – forgiving gear to keep things easy and fun.

  • Performance Packages – responsive skis/boards for more control.

  • Demo / High-End Packages – the latest models for testing or tackling Tahoe’s best days.

We also rent helmets, outerwear, cross-country skis, snowshoes, and offer kids’ seasonal leases.

WHAT TO BRING

Make sure you’ve got:

  • A physical credit card — Digital Wallets such as Apple/Google/Samsung Pay can be accepted for rental payments, but CANNOT be accepted for rental deposits. Please make sure your party has a physical card with them in the store.

  • Warm layers — Tahoe weather can change fast! (Don’t worry: We’ve got you covered with retail options in the store!

  • Ski socks (wool or synthetic — no cotton)

  • Jacket, snow pants, gloves, goggles (rental + retail clothing and accessories available)

  • Willingness to have a good time! (we’ll do our very best to make sure we do our part in making your trip the best!)

We’ll provide: skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, and expert fitting to get you dialed in.

TIPS FOR TIMING

  • Arrive early on busy weekends and powder days.

  • Midweek visits = shorter lines and more time on the slopes.

  • Big storm? Ask us where to ride — we follow the snow every day.

AFTER THE RENTAL

  • Return to any Tahoe Dave’s shop.

  • All gear is tuned and waxed after each rental.

  • Need a quick wax mid-trip? Swing by — we’ll hook you up.
