2012 Was Rad! Let’s Make 2013 Even Better!
This has been one of the snowiest and busiest holiday seasons the Tahoe Dave’s Crew can remember, and if you were up here, I bet you can vouch for that! LOTS of SNOW and LOTS of VISITORS! As of Friday, December 30th, Squaw Valley’s Snowfall Tracker claimed a whopping 250 inches total. INCREDIBLE! If you were dreamin’ of a white Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza or (fill in the blank)… YOU GOT IT! As far as business goes, it was booming to say the least! Something Tahoe businesses needed desperately after last seasons, shall we say, a less than snowy holiday season.! So here is a giant THANK YOU to Mother Nature for bringing on a more than wonderful winter wonderland… and another giant THANK YOU to all of our new and returning customers for coming in and seeing us!
So, what’s in store for North Lake Tahoe in the near future? All of the Dave’s crew and the locals check in with BA at www.opensnow.com (formerly www.tahoeweatherdiscussion.com) for the most up-to-date and honest weather forecast! What does he have to say NOW?
“Temperatures are warming up pretty quickly this morning ahead of the storm approaching the coast, especially in the higher elevations. We will see sun and then some clouds today with temperatures up into the 30’s to near 40. It is going to be a beautiful day on the slopes except for winds up top increasing to 30 mph and gusts to 45.
The approaching storm is going to split with the South piece rotating into CA and then South. Fairly good model agreement this morning of a tenth to a quarter of an inch of liquid falling over the basin tonight and Sunday. That is very little moisture but we could squeeze out 1-3 inches at lake level and 2-4 on the mountains.” Click HERE to read more….
WOOHOO, more SNOW ahead! Cheers to a FUN & SAFE winter season ahead…
DO THE SNOWDANCE BUD!
