This board is the true definition of quiver killer. It’s nimble and playful with effortless ollie power if the park is where you want to be, yet incredibly stable and supportive at high speeds on steep hills. It also provides unbeatable float in powder. The secret to this all-star performance is the camber profile, EC2. EC2 is rocker between your feet, and elliptical camber in the nose and tail. Elliptical camber just means a more subtle camber than normal. This board also features mellow magnetraction, which is three contact points throughout the effective edge. These contact points provide more stability to the rocker shape and they grip like crazy in firm or icy conditions, but with less drag in every turn compared with traditional magnetraction. Last but not least, you’d be hard pressed to find a better looking snowboard!
Rome Madison Boss
The Rome Madison has been the go-to binding for lady shredders for a while now, but the Madison Boss has been seriously upgraded. With the new Conformgrip toe strap, no other strap grips your boot better. It also molds instantly and seamlessly to the shape of the toe of your boot. No gaps or wiggle room here. The Madison Boss also features the Yes I Cant! system, which is the option to insert different degrees of cant. Cant means a slight tilt to the foot-bed so the outside of your foot is higher than the inside of your foot, bringing your knees slightly inward. Cant provides better comfort for wide stances, and also better leverage for ollies and presses. As always with any Rome binding, the Madison Boss is so customizable. That’s probably my favorite feature of the binding. You have more options than most other brands, whether your boot is a size 5 or a size 10.
Thirty-Two STW Boa
This boot really blew me away. The fit is so precise, with a softer flex. Nothing is more convenient than the Boa system of closure, or more reliable. There is a lifetime warranty on Boa parts! Also these boots are so comfortable out of the box, which is a real rarity. Once the 100% heat mold-able liner is customized to your foot only, these boots will feel like slippers but perform top-notch. All these amazing features and then to find out they’re less than $200? Unbelievable. Although the price says economical, I’d have to say its one of our most premium boots.
