Participants will be skating/biking/rollerskating 28 miles and the finish line will be in the parking lot between our ski & snowboard shop in Tahoe City! Skate the Lake with the crew or just come by and CELEBRATE & SUPPORT the great cause!
B4BC Skate the States began as a singular grassroots event in 2004 and has grown to a 3-part series with plans underway to expand to five events in 2014. Since it’s inception, Skate the States has attracted thousands of participants and local/national media attention and raised over $100,000 in support of B4BC’s educational outreach programs and local community non-profits. Funded projects have included B4BC’s Check One, Two nationwide traveling outreach experience and local support services for breast cancer patients and survivors.
